Experience the next big hit in the history of television featuring the next generation of classical music superstars!

VIRTUOSOS, Plácido Domingo's favorite talent show, developed in Hungary brings you the children and young adults who are going to fill the most famous concert halls of the world in the next decades.
November 8, 2018, at the Koch Theater a limited number of New Yorkers have the chance to see these young virtuosos live, before the show goes on TV in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Competing in three age groups (6-13, 14-19 and 20-26) these young musicians and singers are provided with a robust supportive background, ample attention, challenges and performance opportunities necessary for growing and for taking the stages of the most prestigious venues in the world, from the United States through Europe to Asia.

In 2018, international investors joined this intellectual startup to make the brand and nurturing classical music talents a worldwide phenomena. The artists of the performance on November 8 include:
•    Soma Balázs-Piri, 14-year-old pianist and category winner (youngest talents) of the show’s 2018 edition.
•    Amira Abouzahra (13) who won in the youngest age group in 2017 with her fascinating violin recital is taking the stage with her younger sister Mariam (10) violinist, finalist of Virtuosos 2018.
•    Teo Gertler is a 10-year-old phenomenal violin player, a finalist of the show this year and the winner of several international violin competitions.
•    Dániel Ali Lugosi (19), the absolute winner of the first run of the show in 2014. The young clarinet player since then has participated and won several international competitions. His most significant success was the OSAKA International Music Competition which he won in 2017.

The event is free, but due to limited seating, registration is required. Register today via Eventbrite.
