Hungary’s international festival for short films, BuSho (Budapest Shorts) Festival comes to the City to meet up with the very best of next-generation filmmakers of New York University Tisch School of Arts - Kanbar Institute of Film & Television. And now, you too can be part of the discussion.

The Hungarian Cultural Center cordially invites you to a hidden classroom at the largest filmmaking school in the United States to join a celebration of great Hungarian cinematography. The event kicks off with the screening of short films, including the 2017 Oscar winner of 2017, Sing! by Kristóf Deák, and Oscar-shortlisted Maestro by Géza M. Tóth and other highlights of the BuSho festival, and followed by an informal discussion with the curator about what’s next in international short film producing.
Students will have the chance to discuss ideas with Tamás Gábeli before the deadline for submitting their work to BuSho closes. For the discussion, Hungarian pastries and refreshments will be served.
As the capacity is limited, make sure you reserve your spot as early as possible.
