On the invite of the Hungarian Cultural Center in New York, acclaimed Hungarian pianist residing in the USA, professor and recording artist ÉVA POLGÁR will perform an uplifting selection of compositions by FRANZ LISZT and BÉLA BARTÓK honoring the Year of National Unity.

About the artist
 
Éva Polgár has toured the Americas, Europe, and Asia as a recitalist, chamber musician, and concerto soloist. Among other venues, she has performed at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City and at the Gewandhaus zu Leipzig. To promote her native Hungarian music culture abroad, she programs Hungarian composers’ pieces in her concerts among other standard and contemporary piano repertoire. Besides her concert career, she also supports future generations of pianists as Assistant Professor at Azusa Pacific University and as Co-Director of the Los Angeles International Liszt Competition. To fulfill her professional goals, the Hungarian Academy of Arts has awarded her with a three-year arts grant in 2020.
