With the generous help of the Hungarian National Film Archive, Hungarian Cultural Center, New York brings you the 4K restored copy of CAT CITY (Macskafogó), a 1986 Hungarian animated comic science fiction film directed by Béla Ternovszky and written by József Nepp. A staple of Hungarian animation entertaining kids and grown-ups alike, the film was selected as the Hungarian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 59th Academy Awards. Now this is our treat for Saint Nicholas’ Day!

About the film
