Meet with the director of the Queen of Sheba and learn exclusive secrets of the performance on October 29, starting 5 PM at Synergos (3 East 54th street, 14th floor).

The Hungarian State Opera performs the Queen of Sheba, a biblically-themed tale of a love triangle by Karl Goldmark on November 2, 2018 at Koch Theather. In a behind-the-scenes presentation for the hardcore opera and history fans, Csaba Káel, the director of the upcoming performance for Queen of Sheba will be discussing the opera as well as the life and times of Karl Goldmark, his connection to the 1848 Freedom Fight in Hungary and the flourishing Jewish-Hungarian life in the 19th century with his descendant Peter GoldmarkJone Johnson Lewis, Leader of the Riverdale-Yonkers Society for Ethical Culture and public historian Raul Rothblatt.
