The 38th conference of the American Hungarian Educators Association (AHEA) will be held at Rutgers, The State University, NJ, with the theme: Preserving the Past, Finding the Future.

Papers and presentations are open to the public to which all those interested are invited.  The language of the conference is English; also a few Hungarian papers will be included. Please note that on Thursday, 2 May 2013, we will be presenting THE DOOR – István Szabó’s film drama, a captivating adaptation of Az ajtó, Magda Szabó’s semi-autobiographical novel.

The annual AHEA dinner reception will be held on Friday, 3 May 2013, at the Museum of the American Hungarian Foundation, 300 Somerset St, New Brunswick, NJ. On Saturday, 4 May 2013, we will participate in the Reception – Dinner Dance at the Hungarian American Athletic Club, New Brunswick, NJ.
